It is our pleasure to inform you that Geriatric Center Nepal (GCN) has come up as a pioneer organization working towards assuring the rights of elders as the basic human rights in Nepal. It is doing pioneering works in the field of ageing population in Nepal. In addition of providing residential and day-care center for eldely (60years+) GCN\'s main activities include:
socio-economic research on ageing population,
building mass awareness on the concerns of ageing population,
developing training materials and conducting training both for professionals and non- that professional care- takers,
organizing workshops and discussion forums,
work with the government and non-government organizations in the formulation and implementation of policies, programs and projects to cater for the needs of elderly
Our services are oriented to cater for the physical, mental, social and spiritual health of elderly in Nepal. We have residential capacity to accommodate 20 seniors and day-care facility for about 100 seniors. For further information, please visit our website:
